Sports Gynaecology

I have a special interest in Sports Gynaecology. I have a strong sporting background having previously competed for Scotland in both cross-country and middle distance running. I still train regularly. I am interested in the impact of sport on gynaecological function and well-being but also the effect of gynaecological conditions on training and competition. I work closely with the sports physicians in Edinburgh and I’m also part of a UK wide multidisciplinary sports gynaecology network to ensure optimal management of complex cases. I work alongside the Scottish Rugby Union Women's team.
